Vini Jr was part of the controversy on the night after a meltdown when substituted midway through the second-half. The Brazilian also became involved in the end-of-match brawl.
But speaking to Real Madrid TV, Vini Jr was calm, stating: "Great game, winning the Clásico is always very important. We were looking forward to this game.
"Now we have to enjoy ourselves a little, we have a few days off. Thank-you to all Real Madrid fans, especially all those who came to the Santiago Bernabéu and supported us so much."
Regarding all the match incidents, he said: "This is what El Clásico is like, and there are many things going on on and off the field.
"We try to balance all of that, but it's not always possible.
"We don't want to offend anyone, neither the Barcelona players nor the fans. We know that when we go in there we have to defend our side and that was the case today."
