Pellegrini's position has come into question after Betis' Europa League elimination last week.
Ahead of their clash with Girona, Pellegrini was asked about his future, stating: "First, we have to finish the season.
"If we finish fifth, we'll see which competition we qualify for. For me, it will be another good season, because we'll have qualified six years in a row. A good season doesn't erase the bitterness of not reaching the Europa League semi-finals; that will be a difficult wound to heal, but we could have made it because we reached that stage.
"In my personal case, I have a contract, and I don't think the club is going to change its mind because of one single match. I can't speak for other people, but I assure you that my personal situation is the least of my worries.
"What concerns me is that we win with Betis, not my personal contract."
