Marcus Rashford is reportedly open to becoming a part of the 'new project' at Man United with a permanent move to Barcelona looking unlikely.

The 28-year-old has managed to rediscover some form since joining Barcelona on loan, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists in 43 games.

Barcelona are yet to make a decision on whether they will activate the reported £26 million option to buy in their loan deal, however.

According to Diario Sport, Rashford’s priority is to remain at Barcelona, but if that doesn’t happen, he would be open to returning to Man United.

It’s understood that it would depend on who is named the new manager at the club, with Rashford still under contract until 2028.
