The former Manchester United defender has been missing since suffering a serious hamstring injury in a preseason friendly against Genoa. The tear was so severe that Kambwala needed surgery.

After an initial diagnosis of five months of recovery, Kambwala has been missing for now seven months.
The Frenchman has been working his way back for the past three weeks.
Kambwala, 21, joined Villarreal last season from Manchester United. In his first campaign with Yellow Submarine he played 21 matches and gradually became more prominent as the season progressed.
It's possible he will travel with the rest of the team to Vitoria tomorrow for Friday's match against Alavés at Mendizorroza.
