The former Espanyol goalkeeper has established himself as Barca's outright No1 and helped them to the summit of the LaLiga table at this stage of the season.
Garcia told Sport: "I was very well received. I already knew some of them, especially from the youth national team. It's a young dressing room and it also helps the adaptation if you are also young like me.
"I have been very well received, even by those I didn't know or didn't have much contact with. The truth is that I am very happy.
"I came with a lot of desire, and little did I know that it would be a big change in my career. I knew it would be a young dressing room, with a lot of desire and a lot of energy, and that's what I found.
"It was a big change, especially in the style of play, but I feel comfortable and that's the most important thing."
García is also happy working with coach Hansi Flick .
He added, "He trusts me a lot. Of course, when he has to correct me, he does so, but for a player, and even more so for someone new to the team, it is very important to feel the coach's trust."
