The 63-year-old is officially the new Real Madrid manager, returning to the club 13-years after his first spell at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Mourinho has been tasked with reestablishing some stability after a chaotic 2025-26, and, most importantly, win trophies.
According to Diario AS, former midfielder Khedira could be set to join Mourinho as one of his assistants.
It’s understood that Mourinho’s coaching staff will consist of five trusted assistants, with the Portuguese manager looking to add former Real Madrid players.
Khedira, now 39, spent five years with the Spanish giants, winning one LaLiga title and a Champions League, among others.
