The Getafe coach's current deal expires at the end of the season.
Ahead of tonight's clash with Girona, Bordalas said, “Right now I have no news about it.
"We are focused on tomorrow's match, on getting as many points as possible and on being in good shape for May."
Asked for an assessment of Getafe's season so far, Bordalas said: “I don’t usually make short- or medium-term assessments; this is a marathon, not a sprint, and assessments should be made in May.
"We need to start winning three points at a time. We’ve had some very difficult seasons. La Liga is incredibly tough. Girona is the best example. Assessments should be made after we’ve played a lot of games and are in the final stretch.”
