Bayern Munich tell Real Madrid not to 'waste time with Olise bid'

Bayern Munich are ready to repel any summer transfer offers for midfield star Michael Olise.

Olise was superb for Vincent Kompany's team in the 2025/26 season with an outrageous 29 assists and 22 goals across all competitions as part of his second campaign in Bavaria.

The Frenchman has now won back-to-back Bundesliga titles at the Allianz Area and is starring for his national team so far the at 2026 FIFA World Cup.

His form for club and country has reportedly caught the eye of Real Madrid with the Spanish giants keen to make at least one statement summer signing to turbo-boost Jose Mourinho's return to the club.

Olise is under contract in Munich until 2029 and the Bayern hierarchy are putting together contract renewal package that could double his wages in an attempt to ward off interested parties.

Club president Herbert Hainer has now looked to reinforce that position by directly telling Real Madrid not to launch a bid for the 24-year-old.

"As I've said before, if Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has an offer in mind, he can save himself the trouble because we don't want to sell Michael Olise.

"We have a very good relationship with Real Madrid and they contacted me to say they've had absolutely no contact with Michael and they do not want these constant speculations in the media.

"He's a Bayern Munich player and has a long-term contract. And we're not a selling club."

Olise could be in for an elongated summer with Didier Deschamps' team, as France powered into the World Cup last 16 to face Paraguay, and he's leading the assist charts with five so far in North America.
