Barcelona and Bardghji facing deadline disappointment

Barca and Bardghji are set to see the market close tonight with no room in their wage ceiling to register the young Swede as a senior player.

Instead, the summer arrival from FC Copenhagen is facing the coming four months playing with Barca Atletic.

Barca management, including coach Hansi Flick, had wanted to add Bardghji to the senior squad given his impressive form in preseason.

But after failing to secure the necessary player sales before today, there isn't room in their budget to include the youngster's salary.

As such, Bardghji will play for Juliano Belletti's Barca Atletic in the Segunda Federacion until at least January.
