The Athletic says Vini is expecting a total package of around €26m (net). This would include a base salary, bonuses, and a loyalty incentive.
Currently, Vinicius earns around €15.4m per year. An initial offer from Real Madrid of approximately €17.2m was rejected by Vini.
Negotiations are continuing, with Real chiefs hoping Vinicius will soften his stance and reduce his current demands.
A compromise of around €20m-a-year has been suggested by intermediaries.
