While no England players are reported to be carrying injuries, Tuchel's side head into the World Cup with a fully fit squad.
The Three Lions will face New Zealand and Costa Rica before their first World Cup clash with Croatia in just 11 days time, with fans hoping the side can remain in perfect fitness before the game kicks off.
Speaking to Betfair ahead of kick off on Saturday night, Shearer sent a message to Tuchel as he warns him to be careful due to two concerns before this summer’s competition begins.
“I've been in this situation myself prior to Euros and World Cups. As much as you want to give everything, you're also wary that you need to be fit to start the tournament. An injury is the last thing you need for any player, let alone your big players, so the manager has to be mindful of that.
“One thing we can guarantee is that the 11 starting on Saturday won't be the eleven that starts against Croatia, and vice versa for the ones finishing. I think it will be a mix-and-match for both friendlies, and we have to understand and appreciate that it is the right thing to do. As I said, he won't want to show too much of his hand in either friendly.
“I think you can say about a lot of players that they need to be managed because of the conditions, the number of games, and the physicality. That all comes into the mix in the manager's thought process.”
Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze have all been granted more time to recover from their unsuccessful Champions League final exploits ahead of the clash.
However, Tuchel will no doubt still name a strong squad for both friendlies as he builds up form before the World Cup commences.
