Tottenham have announced that Ex-US Navy Specialist Eric Hinson has joined the club's board as a non-executive director in yet another switch around.

When Frank made the switch from Brentford, he brought with him Justin Cochrane (First Team Assistant Coach) Chris Haslam (Head of Performance & First Team Assistant Coach) and Joe Newton (First Team Coach Analyst).

Since then, former executive chairman Daniel Levy was surprisingly removed last month, whilst Fabio Paratici and Johan Lange have become the club’s sporting directors. The club has seen mass changes, but they will not stop there, as the club made an announcement on Thursday morning.

Former US Navy officer and pilot, Hinson has joined the club's board as a non-executive director. He has previous experience at SIMCOM International, Honeywell, Piaggio and Gulfstream. Spurs reportedly hope that his corporate experience will help with Tottenham’s continued growth.

Hinson spoke on the move and how he is ready to get started with the club to continue its forward momentum after the side lifted the Europa League last season.

“I am delighted to have been appointed to the board and to be bringing a different set of skills to support the management team.

"I am looking forward to working with Vinai, Peter and the rest of the board to support the great work already underway.”

Peter Charrington, non-executive chairman, commented on the appointment and revealed what Hinson could offer.

“To offer more and better for our fans, we need a broad range of knowledge and experience at board level.

"Eric brings valuable knowledge from high-performing and demanding corporate and military teams, which, combined with the strengths of the wider team, will further enhance our ability to achieve our goals.”
