Forest kicked off their Europa League campaign with a point from Betis, as Igor Jesus scored both goals for the visitors. Antony leveled the scores four minutes from the end for Betis.
Anderson said, “It’s tough to take but there are loads of positives to take away from the game. We didn’t take three points, but a point away from home is good.
“Not many teams will come here and play like we did, but it’s about managing games now.
“We had a lot of control in the first half and it was really enjoyable to play in. We created a lot of chances; we just need to start putting all these chances away and kill the game off.
“It was really good to be back on the European stage with the club – we just need to kick on now.
“It’s all about recovery now with having a game in three days; back in the Premier League for what is another massive game for us. It’s all about how we recover now and go again.
“We could easily have had three wins if we had managed the games properly, but we’ll work at the training ground now and we’ll turn these draws into wins.”
