According to the Daily Mail, Crystal Palace are the latest club to join the race to sign Hackney and are readying an offer.
It’s understood the South London club’s first offer will be around £20 million, just below Middlesbrough’s asking price of £25m.
Palace face some tough competition for Hackney’s signature, with Everton and Hull both keen on signing him.
Hackney has just one year remaining on his deal at the Riverside.
