Tottenham are ready to offload Yves Bissouma in January after his recent behaviour off the pitch.

The Mali international is yet to make an appearance for Thomas Frank's side this season, and this week footage was released which reports state showed the 29-year-old Mali international inhaling the substance, also known as laughing gas or NOS.

Currently sidelined after ankle surgery in October, the midfielder is said to be first on the list of departures as soon as the January transfer window opens.

After the incident, Bissouma said: “I want to apologise for these videos.

“This was a severe lack of judgment. I understand how serious this is and the health risks involved.

“I also take my responsibilities as a footballer and a role model very seriously.”

TalkSPORT report that Galatasaray remain interested in the Spurs star after a potential move to the Turkish giants fell through last summer. Possession of nitrous oxide for recreational use has been a criminal offence in the UK since 2023 and can result in a two-year prison sentence.

Speaking ahead of Tuesday’s win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League, Frank said: “It’s an internal matter that we are dealing with at the moment and when we have dealt with that, then I will comment on it.”

There is a strong chance that the 29-year-old has already made his final appearance in a Lily whites kit as Frank has grown tired of his constant injuries and antics, which have not aided his return to the pitch.
