The title holders won 5-3 at the Parc des Princes, with Vitinha hitting a hat-trick and Fabian Ruiz and Willian Pacho also on PSG's scoresheet.
Enrique said afterwards: “We showed a lot of character. It was a tough match, a difficult opponent. Tottenham played great, with personality, especially in the first half. They covered everything and defended very well.
“Vitinha is growing, and the team also. If you want to win any individual trophies, you have to win some with your club. He’s so special, so different. I’m very happy for him because he deserves that.
"He works so hard, shows such personality, even when he gave that goal away, he showed he was there. He scored the penalty, he’s great and we’re happy to have him.”
