Chelsea have lost their last four matches under Liam Rosenior after their 3-0 loss at Everton which has put a real dent in their Champions League hopes this season.
Rosenior, who joined in January as the successor to Enzo Maresca, is now close to being sacked by the Chelsea board as he continues to fail to lead the side out of their rut.
Rosenior's notes are not working
One damning aspect of Rosenior’s reign so far has been his note passing as he was seen passing a note to his players in the 84th minute of the defeat to Paris Saint-Germain last week.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Petit says that Rosenior’s notes have to stop as they are not helping his side whatsoever.
"The way he’s acting, his body language on the bench, the way he’s always trying to write things down on the paper then giving it to his players, I mean... come on.
"They (the players) don’t get it, it was the case 20 years ago as well, we don’t get it so don’t do that, we’re not stupid, we’re not kids so just try to behave in the right way.
"I don’t know if you’ve seen the image in the last game where they lost 3-0 to Everton, I saw that game and after the third goal he tries to make a substitution and he writes something down.
"He turned very quickly to his players who were about to come on the pitch and shown him something on a piece of paper but if you have a quick look at the player behind him, the way they look at the manager tells me a lot."
The defeat for Chelsea leaves the club in sixth place, behind Liverpool who lost to Brighton at the weekend. If results do not improve soon for Rosenior, he will be sacked by a ruthless Chelsea board who have little patience for failing managers.
