Chelsea players formed a huddle around the centre circle to delay the start to the second half in their 4-1 victory over Villa this week which caused controversy online.
The move physically obstructed Aston Villa from kicking off due to the ball being in the middle of the circle.
Both Ollie Watkins and Amadou Onana were visibly annoyed whilst stood outside the huddle which is the first time Rosenior's side have pulled this move off in a stunt that divided opinion.
Rosenior denied it had been his idea to get the players to huddle together but admitted that he was happy to see the team showing intuition during the clash.
“No, it wasn't. The idea came from the players, and I really like it because they're showing unity and togetherness and spirit, and I think you need that.
“Before anything, you start talking about tactics or systems, you need a group of players willing to run and fight for each other, and in my time, I have to say, there's not been one game where I can say they haven't given everything or I was disappointed with their application, and that bodes well.
“They're a good group, they're a tight group, they enjoy each other's company, and that's half the battle.”
Chelsea now climb to fifth in the table after Liverpool's shock 2-1 defeat to bottom-placed Wolves as they track down Champions League football. They next face Newcastle United in the league in a clash that is 9 days away.
