Negotiations between the clubs are in their final stages with a package worth around €20 million plus up to €6 million in add-ons being discussed.
Gadou, who is a France youth international, was previously on the radar of former Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl.
Since leaving Paris Saint-Germain’s academy in 2024, he has made 33 appearances for Salzburg, including in European competition.
