Bayern Munich board member Uli Hoeness has provided an update on star striker Harry Kane's future at the club.

Kane, 32, is arguably the best striker on the planet at the moment, scoring 44 goals in his 40 games across all competitions for Bayern Munich.

Despite his importance, it has been revealed that the England captain could be available due to a release clause of just £57 million.

He has been heavily linked with a return to the Premier League, but according to Hoeness, the clause has now expired.

Hoeness told Bild: “I'd like to make that clear. Harry is a stroke of luck for us. Because his release clause for the summer of 2026 has now expired and his contract runs until summer 2027, we are currently under no pressure.”
