Kane's current deal runs to 2027 and Freund said: "(We're) probably seeing the best Harry Kane there has ever been. We also appreciates how he works for the team—not just his goals. He's a perfect player for us. And Harry feels extremely comfortable in this team and in Munich with his family."
"That's why we hope that his time will be in Munich for a few more years."
While it's "still too early to discuss it in detail", Freund added, "I think both sides can easily imagine a collaboration beyond the current contract term of 2027."
