Neymar, another Camp Nou legend, has suggested the Argentine superstar is interested in trying the small-sided competition.
The Kings League, launched by Pique, has grown rapidly, building a global fan base as the brand expands. Its profile was further boosted by the World Cup of Nations in Brazil, with the hosts and Chile already confirmed as finalists.
Speaking on a Brazilian podcast, Neymar revealed that Messi has shown interest in participating, potentially appearing in the semi-finals or final, after following the tournament closely.
“He wrote to me and asked if he could come. I told him I’d check if the booth was full. Messi might come,” Pique said.
“We'll see if one day there is the possibility that he gets involved in the Kings League, for me it would be a dream obviously, because we like to have the best and I've always said it, he is the best in the history of this sport so having him with us would be incredible.”
