Although the financial details of the transfer were not disclosed, the Dutch club confirmed all parties had reached an agreement.
Henrique began his career at Santos before making his professional debut with Atletico Madrid in 2016. He gained valuable experience during loan spells at Parana, Fluminense and Grêmio before joining Monaco permanently in 2020.
The Brazil international became a mainstay in the French club’s defence, making 211 appearances and providing an impressive 39 assists.
Ajax technical director Jordi Cruijff praised the club’s efforts to secure the versatile defender, expressing confidence that Henrique’s quality and experience will strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
