West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott leaves door open to Vejle stay

West Ham goalkeeper Nathan Trott has opened the door to returning to Vejle next season.

Trott has spent this season on-loan with the Danes.

After their 1-1 draw at Brondby, Trott told the waiting press: "The honest answer is that my main focus right now is on performing with Vejle, we have to finish as high as possible, and I have to help the team.

"I am not focused on my contract situation with West Ham right now, it would just distract, so I leave it to my agent.

"I just continue to play, and then we will have to see in the summer what opportunities I have. Of course I have to talk to West Ham and look at my other options.

"It is too early to say where I would like to play. I enjoy life in Vejle. The Super League is a good league, there are many good teams and healthy competition. I wouldn't mind staying for another season."
