Barcelona president Joan Laporta has paid tribute to Ronald Araujo.

Laporta spoke at the presentation of a personal documentary focused on the Barca defender,

"If I would renew him? For me, for life," the president stated.

Laporta also highlighted the character and personality of the defender.

"For Barcelona it is a great pride that you defend the colors like this. This documentary shows what a great and extraordinary person you are. You are one of the best centre-backs in the world. You are the personification of what we want in a player, a fighter, they have to overcome obstacles but what we cannot do is give up.

"And that is also a message for all culés. We will always fight to win, until we can't breathe."
