Jimenez is set to become the Wanderers' second signing in the off-season after Kieran Trippier arrived, with the Old Gold signalling their intent to bounce straight back into the Premier League.
Wolves fans will be delighted that their former legendary striker is returning to Molineux, having recorded 57 goals in 166 appearances across five seasons at the club.
The Mexican hitman even represented Wolves in the Europa League, scoring five goals in nine appearances, so his pending return to the club he once called home is a fairytale.
Jimenez plundered nine goals in 36 top-flight appearances for Fulham last term, and is now ready to embark on the next and potentially final chapter of his career back in Wolverhampton.
Speaking in 2023 after leaving the Old Gold for the Cottagers, Jimenez said: "It was difficult for me to leave Wolverhampton after five years. I had really good moments and some not very good moments as well.
“But we really enjoyed (it). Me as a footballer, my family. We were really good, our life there was really good. We really miss them. But also, we are good here. We’ve been doing great here (at Fulham), we’re settled now.”
