Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has sent a chilling warning to Belgian duo Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku regarding their futures at the club.

Both De Bruyne, 34, and Lukaku, 33, could be shipped out of Napoli with De Laurentiis clearly unhappy about their conduct.

In a recent interview, De Bruyne was scathing about former manager Antonio Conte, insisting that promises had been broken about their style of play.

Lukaku had previously been disciplined for not showing up to training during the final international break of 2025-26.

Speaking in a press conference on Thursday, De Laurentiis made it clear that any unhappy player would be free to leave.

When asked about the comments made, he responded: "They have made statements that are either acceptable or unacceptable depending on your point of view.

"We’ll see what happens when we all get back to work. We’ll see what the new coach thinks of it. If someone has to leave, they will leave. What’s the problem? There are plenty of footballers in the world."
