Nottingham Forest are considering a move for Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones as they look to reinvest the club-record fee received from Elliot Anderson’s sale to Manchester City.

According to reports, the 24-year-old is open to leaving Anfield this summer in pursuit of regular first-team football despite the arrival of new manager Andoni Iraola.

Jones is entering the final year of his Liverpool contract, making him an attractive option in the transfer market.

Forest’s interest comes as new head coach Oliver Glasner prepares to reshape the squad, with the energetic midfielder viewed as an ideal fit for his system.

Inter Milan have also held talks with Liverpool but have seen two bids rejected. The Reds are reportedly demanding between £35 million and £40 million for Jones, a valuation the Serie A champions are currently reluctant to meet.
