Maignan has been in talks with AC Milan over a new contract since, with his current one set to expire at the end of 2025-26.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the two parties have now reached a breakthrough and are close to making it official.
It’s understood that the deal will keep the goalkeeper at the club until the summer of 2031 as AC Milan view him as a key part of their future.
