Abdulhamid made eight appearances and scored one goal for the Giallorossi after joining in January from Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal.
The defender's move to Lens also includes a buy-back option for Roma.
Abdulhamid, 26, was also on the radar of Toulouse before the Lens agreement.
