Chelsea have already agreed personal terms with 19-year-old Netherlands international Jorrel Hato whilst negotiations are still underway for RB Leipzig star Xavi Simons who will join Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Liam Delap as new additions to the Blues.
Joao Felix is the latest Chelsea player to leave Stamford Bridge, joining Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr for an initial £26.2M fee and £17.5M in potential add-ons. Nine players have already departed, but it’s clear that even more need to leave before the 2025/26 campaign kicks off to help the club abide by financial rules as well as to allow new signings to be made under manager Enzo Maresca.
According to a new report from the Standard, Chelsea also want to offload Raheem Sterling, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disasi, Armando Broja, Carney Chukwuemeka, Lesley Ugochukwu and Renato Veiga to help with finances and to fuel new additions to the side.
Having been fined by UEFA for breaching their financial rules, Chelsea must act quickly and offload their assets that are currently sat collecting dust at the club. However, while the likes of Veiga and Ugochukwu are likely to be popular due to their age and potential. Players such as Chilwell and Sterling will not be in high demand.
Chelsea may have to lower their expectations with some of the players they need to sell as reports state that the side want £20M for Sterling and £25M for Broja which are prices not many clubs will pay this summer even if they are for sale.
