Martin O'Neill will take the Celtic job on an interim basis for the second time this season following the dismissal of Wilfried Nancy.

The 73-year-old was handed the responsibility following Brendan Rodgers’ resignation earlier in the season.

O’Neill then stepped down when Celtic appointed Nancy, 48, as Rodgers’ permanent successor after a month of searching.

Nancy didn’t last long in Glasgow, however, and was sacked after just eight games across all competition, winning two and losing the other six.

Celtic have now confirmed that O’Neill will once again lead them on an interim basis, this time until the end of the season.
