Wolves fought back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at the Gtech.
Edwards later said, "I felt we were playing really well and they went 2-0 up, and I felt it was our fault. Getting that goal allowed us to keep the same shape, same plan, probably just a little adjustment personnel-wise, but I thought we were right in the game, and it probably proved to be the right thing at half-time. I thought the second half performance was excellent."
On potentially winning late on, he continued: "Yeah, we were. I thought the energy in the stadium and the feeling in the stadium was we were the team on top, we were pushing. We hit the post, we hit the bar, and I thought it was an excellent performance.
"I'm really proud of the lads. It's hard to say when you've been 2-0 down but I felt we could've won the game tonight. I'm really proud after coming back against this team away from home. It's really difficult, you can see how well they're doing this season. It shows the fight, the courage, the quality, the spirit that's in the group.
"The club at the moment, even though we're in this position, it actually feels united all together, and we all know what we want to do going forward. We want to find a winning team again and there's a long way to go but we're going the right way about it."
