Welbeck has agreed to trigger a 12-month option in his contract to extend his deal to the end of next season.

The veteran striker's previous deal was due to expire at the end of this campaign.
BBC Sport says the new 12-month agreement is now in place after it was triggered this week.
Now 35, Welbeck is currently Brighton's leading goalscorer with 11 goals in 30 appearances, the latest coming in Sunday's 2-1 win over Nottingham Forest.
