Gabriel Martinelli came off the bench to cancel out Erling Haaland’s ninth minute opener with a fantastic 93rd minute strike.
Arsenal’s late equalizer keeps them in second with ten points, five behind current Premier League leaders Liverpool who have a 100% record so far.
Speaking after the game, Arteta revealed his pride after his side were able to come from behind to secure a point but admitted he was ‘disappointed’ they couldn’t get the win.
He said: “I’m very proud of my team the way we played and dominated them. I’m very disappointed with the result.
“We started so well, we were in their half and didn’t allow them to breathe but in one action they are in the spaces and they are lethal there. After that we had our five shaky minutes. Then we completely dominated them again.”
