The 57-year-old joined Forest following Ange Postecoglou’s disastrous tenure back in February, guiding them to Premier League safety.
After an impressive start, Forest’s form tailed off over the last few games of the season, with just one win from their final five games across all competitions.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Pereira could now be the third manager to be sacked by Forest within the past 12 months.
While nothing is yet confirmed, Romano reports that there is 'movement behind the scenes' over his future and he could leave the club.
Pereira has a win rate of 40%, with eight wins, six draws, and six defeats from his 20 games for the club.
