Tottenham chiefs acknowledge transfer market work must improve

Spurs chiefs made the admission in talks with a delegation from the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust (THST).

The London Evening Standard says a survey of 4,500 fans by the THST was presented in the meeting.

In response, the club set out a seven-point plan, with it being conceded that improvements are needed across the organisation.

A strengthening of the academy pathway and improving their work in the transfer market were amongst the points. 

The club also insisted after significant boardroom changes that "several of the referenced decisions pre-dated current leadership".
