Thiago pleased to score first Brentford goal

While the Bees lost 3-1, it was a special game for the Brazilian,who struck a first competitive goal for the club.

After missing much of last season due to a knee injury, Thiago is happy to be how fully fit and already amongst the goals.

He said, “It means a lot to me - I want to score more goals for them. I want them to keep singing my name.

"I feel happy with my first goal, and I hope I score more for the club.

“It was a difficult game, a difficult first half, but we kept going. I think we did well in the second half and found the press.”
