Ahead of tonight's European Super Cup against PSG, Davies described the first weeks under Frank as "exciting".
He said, "He’s come in and he’s brought a lot of energy. The boys have really enjoyed working under him. He’s put on some really good training sessions, where we've worked on the team's structure and little details we feel we can improve.
"So far, it has been really exciting. It has only been a few weeks but we hope that can pay dividends tomorrow night."
Meanwhile, on the sale of former captain Heung-min Son to LAFC, Davies says the South Korean will be missed.
He also stated: "Over the summer, having lost Sonny, who was a big part of the dressing room, a big player on the pitch and we’re going to miss him.
"Ultimately, the senior guys have to be there to support everyone make sure we allow everyone to stand up and show the player they are and person they are."
