Simeone grabbed and shoved Arsenal midfielder Rice after crest blow-up

The semifinal first-leg finished 1-1, with a flashpoint occuring as the players left the pitch.

First Atletico attacker Giuliano Simeone, then his father and coach Diego Simeone, took issue with Rice as the England man walked towards the players' tunnel.

Both Argentines were angry as Rice walked across the Atletico Madrid crest painted on the pitch entry. Simeone Snr, particularly, took issue, grabbing and shoving Rice, who shook off the Atletico coach before teammates intervened.

It's tradition in Spain for the club crest to be avoided in a show of respect to the home team.
