Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott admits the manner of their defeat at Aston Villa on Sunday is a concern.

Villa romped to a 4-0 win on the day.

And Scott told BBC Radio Solent afterwards: “Obviously it was a tough game.

“They're a top team, a team in Europe and we knew it was going to be difficult coming here today, but if we're at our best, I think we definitely can be at a better level than what we did today.

“And it's two weeks in a row where we've not been at the races and not been good enough, which is concerning.

"But international break, get things right and a big game at home at West Ham when we come back. So it's a chance there to put things right.

“There was no rhythm to the game, a lot fouls and stoppages and stuff like that. So it was tough, but obviously, we weren't good enough."
