After Casemiro announced he will be leaving United at the end of his contract this season, the Red Devils have been linked with several players who could transform their midfield.
Names such as Newcastle’s Sandro Tonali and Nottingham Forest’s Elliot Anderson have been reported but names from abroad have also creeped in.
Speaking to Ozoon, Saha believes United should make a move for Real Madrid’s Bellingham who recently returned from a long term injury for the Spanish giants.
“My dream summer signing for Man Utd would be Jude Bellingham. It’s a crazy idea, but he has everything. I’d absolutely love to see it.
“His athleticism is, I think, the best in the world. He's able to play in many roles, including number 8 or number 10. He has a sense of leadership, he'd definitely be a leader, a bit like Bruno Fernandes in some ways. He's definitely in that bracket of world-class players.
“All these qualities would be amazing for United, and I think he’d love to return to England and play in the Premier League. So, it would be a dream.”
The 22-year-old is working his way back from a hamstring issue that reduced him to tears in early February, and only returned to Real Madrid action as a late substitute eight days ago.
As he prepares to lead England at the World Cup this summer, Bellingham could be the perfect replacement for Casemiro even if he costs upwards of £100M which would put a dent in United’s budget.
