Amorim is under increased pressure at Old Trafford following United’s humiliating 3-1 Premier League defeat to Brentford on Saturday (September 27).

United have now lost three of their opening six league games and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town.
Per the i Paper, the Portuguese coach has been shocked by the sheer amount of scrutiny he has faced following their dismal start to the season.
It’s understood that the club are worried he may just walk away and catch United off guard before they’re able to sack him.
Amorim has threated several times that he may quit, once suggesting that the club wouldn’t even have to pay him compensation.
