Amorim, who couldn’t even watch his side’s penalty shootout, is under growing pressure following their dismal start to the new season.

According to the Guardian, people inside the dressing room are starting to question his methods and whether he’s the right man to lead the club.

It’s understood that his tactical stubbornness and man management skills are starting to rub some members the wrong way.

United have no intention of sacking Amorim but there is said to be a sense that he could walk away if results don’t turn around.

Amorim reportedly came close to quitting just after the new year but was ultimately talked out of doing so by the club’s higher ups.
