Roma, Villarreal move for West Ham defender Mavropanos

The Greece defender is interesting AS Roma this month, with Villarreal also interested.

TMW says Roma have been in contact with West Ham for some weeks about a price for Mavropanos.

However, Villarreal have now made an approach and are eager to open talks about a fee for the defender.

For their part, West Ham are willing to sell at a price of at least €20m, though will insist on finding Mavropanos' replacement first.
