The Gunners looked a class above in today's early kickoff as they ranout 3-0 victors.
Martin Zubimendi, twice, and Viktor Gyokeres struck the goals for the hosts.
Afterwards, former Gunners defender Martin Keown said on TNT Sports: "That was a real scary show of strength from Arsenal today with the quality of player. You've been without Havertz and Saka unavailable and that was a problem for Arsenal last season, but not this.
"Madueke, Eze coming in today, both of them outstanding. This man (Viktor Gyokeres) as well, Gyokeres, what about that second goal, so direct, forward pass. This man in the box is a real predator. The quality of the group, even this young man (Mosquera) at the back, what a performance that was. His full debut at Arsenal, home game, outstanding.
"At the moment, Arsenal are looking so strong.
"Eze is starting to purr, you're seeing the touches, you're seeing the flicks. And above all else, you're seeing a winning performance from Arsenal and I think that's a huge message that Arsenal are better equipped this time around."
Rangers legend Ally McCoist stated: "You saw the strength and depth, the substitutes they brought on, whether it's Myles Lewis-Skelly, Nwaneri, Rice, Martinelli, Trossard. They are now a proper squad and they will be a real threat."
And former England striker Peter Crouch also said, "They've signed some great players. Eze and Madueke at times were unplayable. I thought the luxury to rest Rice, Merino and Zubimendi were so comfortable in there, such technical footballers. They gave a good account of themselves. A great day for Arsenal."
