"We are very frustrated because I think we started the game very well," said Pedro afterwards. "We controlled the game at 1-0 and 2-0, but in the end, we conceded. This season has been like this.

"I think we have to be more consistent and more focused, and kill the game, but today it happened again. We need to look at ourselves to see where we can improve.

"When things like this happen, where we could win the game – I had a chance, Cole had a chance – I think it’s just not our day. We need to be focused to try to win the game.

"I think we need to be more consistent. If you want to achieve the Champions League and top four, you cannot drop points like this."

On those Leeds goals, Pedro lamented: "We need to clear the ball. If you wait and get too many people around the ball, that can happen. It’s difficult. Today we played a great game, but we need to be more focused. We can’t concede like this."
