Can Strand Larsen make a difference?
Strand Larsen has only scored one Premier League goal this season for bottom of the league Wolves but Glasner is hopeful that he can make a difference at Palace who 15th in the league, 9 points away from the relegation zone.
"He has a similar profile to JP. We wanted a tall and physical number nine and Jorgen has a great mentality and a great character.
"He has shown it this week in training that he has this feeling inside the box.
"We trust in him. We’re always looking at the profiles and the character of the player, and Jorgen shows both – that’s why we had a huge effort to get him into the building. He's shown it this week in training.
"He’s hungry to score goals, and of course he needs to get the ball in the right areas, but he has this feeling where to move in the box – he’s scored a few nice goals."
The striker scored 14 times for Wolves last season and Newcastle United pursued him over the summer in a deal that never came to fruition.
He will likely be handed his debut this weekend against Brighton who sit two places above Palace whose European dreams are fading.
