Edu, 47, was brought in as Nottingham Forest’s global director of football after leaving his role in North London last summer.

The Brazilian famously had a falling out with Nuno Espirito Santo, with Forest choosing to sack their greatest modern manager in favour of Edu.
Tensions behind the scenes continued to rise, however and reports have revealed Edu received a formal instruction to stay away from the City Ground and the club’s training facilities.
Several reports have now stated that Edu has been relieved of his duties, just eight months after taking the job.
