The midfielder is carrying an ankle injury, but has been cleared by the Gunners to join Norway as a cheerleader for their looming World Cup qualifiers.

"As it seems now, we've made a deal with Arsenal and Martin," Norway coach Stale Solbakken said on Monday.
"He flies to Oslo after his rehabilitation on Thursday. Then he continues his rehabilitation with us and will be with us from Thursday afternoon.
"I don't know when the plane departs. But he will be with us until Milan (Sunday)."
Norway will meet Estonia at home on Thursday. Sunday, the last group match is waiting in the World Cup qualification against Italy.
